English Course Exemption Exam Announcement

For the 2025-2026 Academic Year, an English Exemption Exam will be administered on Thursday, October 2, between 11:00-11:50 for newly enrolled students at our university who wish to be exempt from the courses English I (ING101) and English II (ING102), which will be offered through UZEM. Participation in the exemption exam is optional, not mandatory. Only newly enrolled students of our university (excluding the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies) are eligible to apply. Applications from other students will not be accepted. Students who wish to apply for the Exemption Exam must submit a petition to their respective academic units (Faculty/School/Vocational School) no later than Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 17:00. Petitions submitted after this deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances. The list of eligible students and exam venue details will be announced by the respective academic units (Faculty/School/Vocational School). Students who score at least 60 out of 100 in the exam will be considered exempt from the English course(s).
