Head of Department’s Message
Dear Students, Esteemed Parents, and Respected Visitors,
On behalf of the Department of Laboratory and Veterinary Health, I extend my warmest greetings to you all. In today’s world, the rapid developments in animal husbandry, food safety, and public health have further emphasized the critical importance of veterinary health services. Along with this transformation and growing need, the demand for well-qualified veterinary health technicians has been steadily increasing. At this point, our Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program opens its doors to you, our valued students, with the mission of educating knowledgeable, competent, and responsible professionals in the field of animal health.
Our program aims to provide a comprehensive academic and practical foundation—ranging from basic veterinary anatomy and physiology to microbiology, parasitology, animal nutrition, diseases, laboratory applications, and clinical skills. Our fundamental objective is to train technicians who can meet the requirements of modern livestock production and veterinary services, while adhering to professional ethical values, and who are attentive, disciplined, and capable of working in cooperation with others.
With the support of our experienced and highly specialized academic staff, our department is committed not only to providing theoretical knowledge but also to enhancing your professional skills through internships, field practices, and project-based learning. Preparing you for real-life professional challenges constitutes the very core of our educational approach.
Dear students, this program represents a valuable opportunity for you. It is in your hands to make the most of your education and to continuously develop yourselves, so that upon graduation you can take strong and confident steps into professional life. Please know that throughout your academic journey, in every difficulty you encounter, our faculty members and department administration will be there to support you.
