A Day in Harmony with Nature: Technical and Social Excursion

The “A Day in Harmony with Nature: Technical and Social Excursion” event was organized by the Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program for the department’s students in Battalgazi district and at our University’s Battalgazi Campus.

As part of the event, the program began with a general introduction at the Battalgazi Campus. Afterwards, participants visited the Equestrian and Horse Sports Application and Research Center, where the Director of the Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman KÖSEMAN, together with the staff, provided detailed information about the Center’s ongoing activities. A lunch organization was also held at the venue. During this time, the event coincided with the visit of experts on TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, which enriched the program. Demonstrations with horses were carried out, and students had the opportunity to take short tours with the horses.

Following the completion of the technical tour, the program continued with a cultural visit to Kırkgöz Coastal Park in Battalgazi district.

This combined technical and social excursion contributed to the students’ development by providing knowledge on horse breeding and care practices. At the same time, both the technical and cultural aspects of the event helped to enhance student motivation.
